ScanGard is an automatic access control and attendance tracking system.  It supports identification with biometric and proximity devices.  ScanGard is designed to support organizations of all sizes.  The ScanGard scanner consists of a compact, centralized, access control terminal with a magnetic lock and scanner at the entry and exit points of an establishment to avoid unauthorized entry. The ScanGard software can be used to track employee attendance, hours worked, overtime, leaves, etc., and also generate customized reports.


Administrator can set access rights for each class of users using the software.  Anti-tailgate systems can also be installed to augment the security.  ScanGard can also be customized to facilitate the simultaneous use of a different type of access control device (scanner) at each door.

The ScanGard software is fundamentally the same for all versions of ScanGard.  The ScanGard scanners will be different for different series of ScanGard.  Administrator can set access rights of each class of users of the system using the ScanGard software.
